The Saddest Lines

I see the sky is dark today
I dodge the drops of summer rain
I have already seen this place
Between those sorry childish winter days

I was once a lonely stray
I left her just to get away
She cried for several hundreds days
And waited for her love to go away

Home's a mirage I know
And it keeps getting hard to see
If I am lost, yeah if I'm wrong
I'll wait here till the world takes over me

Then I changed my troubled mind
I saw my my future passing by
I needed her to be my sky
But she forgot the love I left behind

Home's a mirage I know
And it keeps getting hard to see
If I am lost, yeah if I'm wrong
I'll wait here till the world takes over me

Home is not the one I knew
I loved her then she loved me too
But she's my past, and that is gone
And we are only what we have become

Home's a mirage I know
And it keeps getting hard to see
If I am lost, yeah if I'm wrong
I'll wait here till the world takes over me

Home is becoming
Anywhere I lay my head at night
I'm ready for something
But as for now, I think I'll be alright
