Itineraries: A Running List of Places to See Before I Die
Item 1. The Devil's Swimming Pool, Zambia
In Zambia lies Victoria Falls, the largest waterfall range in the world. That is a place that I have wanted to see ever since Lauren showed me pictures, and explained her desire to visit Overland HQ nearby. But, more specifically, there is a natural phenomenon that has formed a shallow pool right on the edge of the falls. A rock wall sits inbetween the pool, and the 360 foot falls, making it possible to swim on the edge of the gorge. Mindblowing.
